The first Philippine Blogcon ‘06 is just a few days away. Bloggers from all over the country are invited to join this meet and greet event on September 25, 2006.
Here are the details:
What: Philippine BlogCon 2006
When: September 25, 2006 7PM to 10PM
Where: National Sports Grill, Greenbelt 3, Makati City
Who: Philippine Bloggers
This is an informal meet-up but we will have a short talk from several fellow bloggers:
Abe Olandres : History of Blogging in the Philippines & Professional Blogging
Jayvee Fernandez : Blogging as New Media vis-a-vis MSM
Marc Macalua : SEO and Blog Make-Over
Noemi Dado : Content is still King
We’re happy to have Globe Innove as the official sponsor of this event which we hope would be a regular thing. (Hinge Inquirer Publications is the secondary sponsor.) Food and drinks will be available and prizes/tokens to be given away.

i wonder why Smart didn’t take (or try taking) a slice of the cake..
Smart’s management is too old school to realize the power and presence of blogging. Top-down stuff. Or maybe the organizers has strings that they could easily pull at Globe Innove. Or Smart is too busy trying to fix Smart Bro and reading hate mail.
Why on such a short notice though? Will there be a live webcast?
