Wednesday, August 30th, 2006

Would you really care to install another browser in your system?
If you do, you can try Swift (formerly known as GetWebKit) an Alpha-stage web browser based on the Apple Webkit rendering engine.
Installation proved to be buggy, and it was reccommended to download the following Windows components:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)

Tuesday, August 29th, 2006

I first wrote about PLDT & Smart’s Pwede card in May. I wrote about how I like the idea of loading the card almost *anywhere* in the Philippines through any nearby Smart reloading stall.

Nothing to be surprised really but some westerners tend to be biased against anything [...]

Aryty targets Filipinos abroad to Ask 4 Load

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006

Found this one from a banner ad over at Friendster. At first I thought it was one of those Friendster services being silently rolled out without much funfare but it turns out to be a 3rd-party service.
Aryty (sounds like All Righty!) specifically targets OFWs in the US and Canada to send call and text loads [...]
