Apple iPhone 3GS is back, sells for Php14,990
For those who wants to have the social status of being an iPhone owner but find the iPhone 4/4S too heavy on the wallet, why not go for the older 3GS model?
The iPhone 3GS is being brought back and sold in mobile shops for Php14,990. Despite being two generations old, the iPhone 3GS still runs on current iOS5 and upgradeable to iOS6 once it comes out.

What you’ll lose out on is the gorgeous display on the current iPhone and the powerful processing power. You won’t be able to play the latest heavy games properly with this one but casual gamers (I’m looking at you Angry Birds fans) need not worry, the 600Mhz processor should still prove to be capable for such games. Also don’t expect iPhone 4-quality photos here but the 3-megapixel camera should be fine for Instagram lovers out there.
What you can get out of the iPhone 3GS at this point is the latest iOS which includes Apple’s cloud solution and probably the iPhone-user label if that’s something that you aspire. Just slap a gorgeous case on it and unsuspecting people won’t know. Still, a lot of useful apps and fun games will be available to you and at the least, you’d get a very decent music player.
This Php14,990 iPhone 3GS is the 8GB version and comes unlocked with NTC approval and will have the usual 1-year Apple warranty.

Mahal parin kahit 2 gen old na
You can already buy a dual core smart phone with that.SMH
Apple should re-visit their pricing by now.
hindi naman si apple ata yung nag dictate ng pricing. yung distributor.
The iPhone 3GS epitomizes the old Muhammad Ali advice that goes,”Buy just one car and keep driving it until it ain’t gonna run no more”. If every mobile phone owner can be happy with just one unit for five years without changing it, imagine the money saved for the next one. Had a Nokia N70 Music Edition (it still works) before my iPhone3GS took over. Not bad for something that costs P10,300 five years ago.
mahal!! dapat at that price 16GB na kahit sabihin mong iphone pa yan.
Only an idiot would buy this phone bnew…
only with money can buy… those who can’t… well, a lot of reasons can be said.
+1 here.
Good thing it is already factory unlock
