Asus WL-520gU Wireless Router Promo
If you’ve been planning to buy a wireless router for quite a while, now is a good time to get one. Starting next monday (March 9), when you buy an Asus WL-520gU wireless router you will get a FREE Wi-Fi USB dongle. That dongle is perfect if you have those old laptops without built-in WiFi or if you have multiple desktops at home.
Asus is more known for its motherboards and netbooks but they also have networking products. Here are some features of the WL-520gU.
- MFP(Multifunction Printer) server: Wirelessly and simultaneously share MFP printing and scanning functions for multiple users
- Auto-detection and New EZ UI (Easy User Interface): delivers the easiest and fastest way to setup your router.
- EZ QoS – Powerful and easily-operated BOD (Bandwidth On Demand) streamlines your Gaming/Audio/Video experience.
Even though it’s not yet “n” capable, it’s Bandwidth On Demand is pretty cool. Is your brother hogging most of the bandwidth downloading mp3’s? You can limit his bandwidth so you can play your online game without any hitch.
SRP for this router is P2,100 (I bought my 2nd hand basic D-link wireless router for P2,000) which is a fairly decent price. Plus you’ll get a FREE WiFi USB Dongles which usually costs around P1,000 in stores.
Promo runs from March 9 – April 10.

sabi ng rep ng Asus magiging available sila sa mga retailers and even Asus concept shops (like yung sa cyberzone in megamall). monday pa start ng promo so wait for it.
