Big Brother in Second Life
Endemol, the owners of the very popular “Big Brother” Reality TV show , has announced that they are hatching plans to implement the Big Brother Franchise in Second Life. 15 Second Life contestant-users will be chosen and will be asked to spend 8 hours/day in a glass walled house for one month. Similar to the Big Brother format, contestants will be voted off with the winner getting his own island real estate in Second Life worth $1,675.
Second Life is a 3D virtual world created by LindenLab. Users can join for free with a basic account. Your PC however must meet the minimum requirements.
This is the latest development in an industry trend where real-world companies have started to make their presence felt in Second Life.
