Canon intros two new mono-color imageCLASS laser printers for your business

Canon recently launched two mono-color laser imageCLASS Multi-Function Printers (MFP) which is expected to help businesses in the home-based, small and medium enterprises (SME). The ImageCLASS MF3010 offers best-in-class features and price points, while the ImageCLASS MF5980dw incorporates Canon’s SEND Technology for greater workflow productivity.

Both the MF3010 and MF5980dw features Canon’s Ultra-Fast Rendering II LT device driver – a print language which accelerates processing and printing of jobs for greater productivity.

These printers also make use of Canon’s On-Demand Fixing Technology to help business owners minimize power consumption and save on electric bills. The new ImageCLASS printers uses a unique ceramic heater design against a flexible fixing film, On-Demand Fixing technology delivers significant energy savings compared to standard roller fixing method used by conventional laser printers.

This printer can print and copy up to 18 pages-per-minute (ppm) for maximum productivity. ImageCLASS MF5980dw: High-speed document processing for SMEs

The MF5980dw is equipped with both PCL and Postscript languages, PCL increase device suitability in a wide range of environments, while Postscript ensures highly precise objects and lines when handling highly detailed graphics.

It also utilizes Canon’s SEND technology which eliminates the administrative hassle of manual, paper-based document management. Canon’s SEND is a proprietary technology that allows workgroup users to distribute scanned documents throughout the network, may it be individual or group e-mail addresses, local mail boxes, shared network folders and document management systems.

The MF5980 is also Wi-Fi enabled and is designed to process large volumes of business documents with a whopping print speed of 33 ppm.
