Urbanears opens first concept store in the Philippines, 3F The Podium

Sep 15, 12 Urbanears opens first concept store in the Philippines, 3F The Podium

Posted by in Audio & Video, Events

Urbanears finally opened its first concept store at the Podium (3rd floor, near the escalator) last Thursday, September 13, 2012. They are a Swedish headphone brand that gives you a good mix of technology, design and color. The brand understands the need for self expression through these gadgets as they become the new platforms for such philosophy. Upon checking the store out, the impulsive buyer in me instantly wanted to purchase all products in different colors to fit my mood and fashion everyday! Their products are very simple, but the bold colors will definitely make you stand out. It’s the perfect fashion statement for music lovers! Urbanears products are named after places and districts which makers consider to have a great significance in making up the urban environment of its hometown, Stockholm. Here are the different headphone models that they carry: Bagis (P1,200) Each piece of this noise-reduction earphone snaps together so that you can carry them around neck when not in use. Medis (P2,450) Patented Ear-click solution secures earpiece and keeps it firmly in place. Perfect for your morning run! 😉 Calvin wrote a review of the Medis over at his personal blog. Tanto (P1,950) Don’t you just remember the old school Walkman with this lightweight, portable headphone? Plattan (P2,950) The classic headphone features the ZoundPlug that allows your friend to plug in. What an awesome way to share music! Zinken (P7,950) DJ or not, you can experience music at a different level with Urbanears’ top of the line. Calvin was able to take the Zinken for a spin before it came out. Hit this link for his review. These products are manufactured in-house, meaning they get to sell the products at an affordable price without compromising product performance. Awesome! I tried out their test units and was happy with the good quality of the sound that it produces. For a music enthusiast like me, I tend to be picky with the sound quality but Urbanears did not fail in meeting my expectations....
