that’s a really wild idea.. but hey.. that is really cheatproof.. who could cheat biometrics anyways? hehehe
But the tallies must be near-real time.. that is to avoid manual editing of the database

Wild idea folks: automated election system using open source software with cryptographic security, biometrics and other cheatproof design features…involving WWW + cell phone network…must cost P1B or less. I’m sure we’ve all thought about something like this. But may Pinoy Tech Blog could host a forum or design group or something…must produce final tally within 24 hours or better yet in near-real time of the tally.

What would it really take, tech-wise to secure the only real power the people have?
