EPSON launched hi-end projectors

July 29, 2010. SMX Convention Center, Manila Philippines. EPSON Philippines launched its high-end series of projectors.

First up is the Ultra-Short Throw Interactive Projector – the EB-450Wi

This ultra short throw projector can project a 30″ screen from a distance under 7 meters. This projector is perfect for classrooms because of its interactive feature. An included pen which acts as a pointer and the mouse can also be used to write on the projected surface. Tap on the wall to move between presentations or you can also use the pen to mark on the wall to further illustrate discussion points.

Here are some quick specs of this projector:

• Brightness: 2500 Lumens brightness (normal mode) 1740 Lumens (ECO-mode)
• Native Resolution: XGA(1280×800) – supports up to 1680×1050(WSXGA+)
• Contrast Ratio: 2000:1

• Projection System: Epson 3LCD, 3-chip optical engine
• Weight: 14 lbs. with slide plate – 12.9 lbs. without.

The second projector presented is for Home Theaters – EH-TW4500

This is an absolute must for the ultimate home theater set up. The 200,000:1 contrast ratio is the highest EPSON has to offer. It also has an interpolation feature that fills the gap in-between frames to make the movie more smooth to watch.
