Epson launches first series of LabelWorks label printers

More known for its printers and projectors, Epson recently launched a new line of products called LabelWorks, their first venture in portable label printers.

These new Epson LabelWorks printers are for those who want an easy way to label and tag everything at home or in the office. Mothers who wants to put name stickers on their kids’ school items or small business owners who needs their supplies and document folders labeled. It’s also suitable to healthcare and retail industries, labeling lab specimens or

There were three LabelWorks models announced. The most basic ones include the portable LW-300 and LW-400 which prints narrow strips (up to 18mm) of sticker for basic labeling needs. The LW-300/ LW-400 are equipped with 14 font types, 10 styles, 459 symbols and 89 frames for unique customizations. It can also store up to 50 custom designs for convenient reprinting of label designs.

Epson LabelWorks LW-900P

The LW-900P, on the other hand, can be connected to a PC or Apple Mac OS computer to personalize and create larger labels (up to 36mm). Aimed at vertical industries like logistics, manufacturing, and building management, it’s really useful for printing barcodes for tracking inventories.

These new Epson LabelWorks will be available this June at the following prices:

  • LW-300 – Php2,520
  • LW-400 – Php3,150
  • LW-900P – Php9,500

There will be a number of sticker tapes available in different colors and designs in National Bookstore and Anson’s. A plain black on white roll will retail for about Php500.

    i think my OC dad would love this. he’s putting “property of” labels on his DVDs, books, gadgets but he’s doing it old-school, strip of paper covered with scotch tape. hahaha. and the price is not bad at all.

  • ung label sticker po ba nito eh laminated? like brother labeller? very tempting bumili lalo na pasukan na at marami akong ilalabel na gamit ng kids ko….

    • i think depende sa tape cartridge na kukunin mo, pero yung kasama nyang black on white tape medyo matte finish not glossy.

    This is classic! I remember nung mga Grade 1 pa kami meron din ganito grandpa namin. I forgot the brand but it really looks the same as this! I think Brother nga din ang brand nun.
