ESET Antivirus Software Available in National Bookstore Branches

Who knew that National Bookstore is now carrying software? Well they do. It seems that since March, ESET threat detection solutions which is distributed by VSSC Distribution Inc. are already being sold in National Bookstore Branches.

Their flagship product, the ESET NOD32 Antivirus (Php1,585) continues to gain accolades from the industry, with independent comparative testing group Virus Bulletin giving the ESET line a record 61st VB100 award.

Home and business users will also benefit from ESET Smart Security (Php1,875) — an integrated antivirus, antispyware, antispam and personal firewall solution that can detect and disable computer threats with speed and accuracy. It is selling for.

So how good is ESET compared to other antivirus out there? According to a security shootout conducted by MaximumPC last April, it ranks second in terms of performance just behind Norton.
