“FIS believes there is great opportunity for the BPO industry and we are excited about the marketplace in the Philippines,” said Ram Chary, executive vice president of FIS’ Global Commercial Services division. “FIS’ strategy is to continue to build upon our past success in this business in the U.S., India and Brazil and actively participate in the economic development of the region by adding more jobs in the Philippines.”

The new FIS office is located at the 9th Floor of Ecoplaza at 2305 Chino Roces Ave. Extension, Makati. Currently, there are 150 employees at this office but the company expects to increase it to about 1,000 in the next 18 months.
