The ZTE Mimosa Mini is an entry-level dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It has a 2.8-inch screen, 650MHz processor, 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera but the fact that it is dual-SIM and affordable (P5,390) makes this a good budget choice for a lot of Filipinos.

Aside from call and text? Hello? Who wants to be left behind without internet connection on their hand. Plus, it’s android, million of apps available to download.

After all has been said and done about it’s bell and whistles, what is important is the battery life. It won’t be useful on the go if it cannot hold a charge.

Aside from Call and SMS I want my phone to have a solid support from the company it came from (though unofficial but trustworthy ones are welcome) whether in software, in warranties, or in those calling-if-you-have-a-problem-with-phone services to be able to ensure longevity for my smartphone years after it becomes outdated by advanced hardware (even in the low end side). Its already one thing to be outdated by newer models coming out within less than half a year but its on another level if the company, or anyone for that matter, drops their support from like day 1 or after the first month specially in android updates.
Aside from Call and SMS, having a good camera with at least 2-megapixel, generic application’s compatibility, long running battery life, operating system, and very good internet browsing.
