Globe bares iPhone 5 plans, lock-up period not a problem
The Apple iPhone 5 is set to be launched next Friday, December 14 and Globe just announced their pricing plans for both prepaid and postpaid.

iPhone 5 on Globe Prepaid starts at Php35,400 for the 16GB version while it’s free for Globe’s PostPaid Plan 2499. Here’s the rest of the iPhone 5 pricing plan for Globe subscribers.

Globe is offering the iPhone 5 at 0% interest plan for up to 24 months with the following credit cards: Allied Bank, BDO, BPI, Citibank, East West Bank, HSBC, Metrobank/PS Bank, RCBC/Bankard, Security Bank/Diners Club, and Union Bank.
To make it more appealing for current postpaid subscribers, you’re allowed to “reset” your contract and get as much as 72% discount when you get the iPhone 5.
Globe iPhone 5 postpaid subscribers will also get free 4 months insurance worth Php1,596 via Globe Gadget Care to give your phone protection from accidental damage, theft, or robbery.
To top it off, until the end of the year, Globe is also offering up to 50% off on iPhone 5 accessories from brands such as Belkin, Moshi, Ozaki, In Case and more.

im on plan 1,799 they are offering this cashout 25k & reset plan.. is it too much?

Agree. I think that is way too much!
Apparently, with an EastWest CC, I was told at a Globe centre that I can only avail of a 12-month installment plan for the cash-out amount instead of the (fake) advertised 24-month.
any reason why? or false advertising talaga?
cash out lang po ang pwede mong bayaran with your credit card..and then the plan is your monthly bills in 24 months.
