Globe launches AppZone website
Globe launched a new site that offers subscribers a collection of software downloads for their mobile phones or PCs called the AppZone. AppZone will be home to mobile and digital technologies that can help subscribers maximize their mobile experience with Globe.
AppZone will provide Globe users with a wide variety of software that fall into these categories: Business/Finance; Utilities; Education and Reference; Enhancements; Personal Productivity; Multimedia/Graphics; Medical; Enterprise; Travel; Entertainment; and Internet.
AppZone will also be a venue for Globe’s community of developers in Globe Labs to market their applications to subscribers. The developer community benefits from this as they gain valuable insight and suggestions from actual users that they can use to further develop and improve their applications.
The portfolio of software and applications in AppZone is designed to complement the existing value-added services that Globe is offering. It will also enhance the mobile and broadband experience of Globe subscribers.
Subscribers can find a number of useful applications in the market. AppZone can be accessed at appzone.globe.com.ph or through myGlobe.com.ph.
