Globe picks the 4.3-inch Huawei Ascend P1 as first LTE handset
We saw the Huawei Ascend P1 LTE device last November but then it was just a soon-to-be available LTE phone.
Globe made good on their promise to bring LTE handsets at the last quarter of the year by choosing this Huawei handset for their postpaid and prepaid subscribers.

The Huawei Ascend P1 is a decent-looking 4.3-inch phone with a qHD AMOLED display and runs on a dual-core processor using Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage with support for microSD. It also has an 8-megapixel camera that can do Fujll HD video recording.

LTE speed on this phone supports up to 100Mbps but from what we’ve seen so far from Globe’s LTE test, 42 Mbps would already be acceptable.

The Huawei Ascend P1 LTE will be free on UnliSurf Plan 1799. Add P500 monthly for 24 months if you want it on UnliSurf Plan 999. If you want it on prepaid, prepare to shell out Php21,000.

may data cap?
better wait for S3 with LTE
I want the S3 LTE capable handset sana kaso my current plan na ko. Sana mag offer din yung globe ng reset plan if gusto magtransfer from 3G to LTE…
this’ll die quick. 1670mAh on a 4.3inch AMOLED display and you switch on LTE.
Goodluck with that batt life.
Yup, especially since LTE is not SoC.
LTE is everywhere in Manila? N/A in Cebu… boo hoo
