Globe has upgraded their Duo service with Super Duo — an add-on landline number attached to your mobile phone number which enables you to make unlimited landline calls as well as unlimited mobile phone calls to any Globe or Touch Mobile number nationwide.

For an additional Php499 per month on top of your regular subscriptions, Globe Super Duo gives you unlimited phone calls to any Globe/TM phone nationwide. Price for prepaid subs is Php599 per month or Php35 per day. No need to get a Duo-activated SIM — your existing SIM card will do.

To activate Super Duo, text “SUPERDUO < area > ON” to 8888.

    Christian:

During text subscription, you’ll choose which area you want to subscribe your landline number to. If you subscribed for Metro Manila, it’ll only be for that area. If for Cavite, for Cavite landline calls only, and so on.

I am having problems with my super duo (via prepaid). I can’t seem to call house numbers. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? What should I do? Help! :(

I had zero contact with PLDT landlines during my first three SuperDuo subscription days. On the morning of the 4th day super ok and smooth na. I did not complain to Globe but I was cursing Globe those first three days. I subscribed Nov. 30 and could only call PLDT on Dec 3.

Call them up and monitor your phone. Try again today if you can already call.

I have problems calling landlines but able to call Globe numbers. After 21 days of still not being able to call to other landlines I had it and just asked for a reversal of what I paid. Globe SuperDuo super sucks!!!
