Globe to offer Nokia’s first Windows Phone, the Lumia 800

If you’ve been wanting to score the first Windows Phone ever from Nokia, Globe will be carrying the Lumia 800 real soon.

Globe Telecoms recently announced on their Facebook page that Nokia chose to go exclusive with them for their flagship Windows Phone, the Lumia 800. This Windows phone will be available for only P1,499 a month with My Super Plan UnliSurf Combo 999. Pre-order page for the Nokia Lumia 800 is going to be up on March 26 so watch out for it.

The Nokia Lumia 800 was announced last October and is the Windows version of the Nokia N9, a beautifully-designed phone. It sports a 3.7” AMOLED display and is powered by a single-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor. It has a 16GB internal storage and an 8-megapixel f/2.2 Carl Zeiss camera capable of 720 HD video recording.

  1. The local TelCo’s actually beat Nokia Philippines with releasing the Lumia Windows Phone phones to the (non-grey market) market.

    SRSLY.

Punta ka sa kahit anong Nokia store (SM Megamall, for instance.), meron sila hanggang yung N9 at Asha series lang. Walang Lumia.

    I find this somewhat disturbing.

That said, makukuha ko na rin to (800) carried-subsidized. :D

  2. finally a non-symbian phone from Nokia!

  3. waaaa korni, 7.4K cashout sa plan 1799. iphone 4s, around 4k lang yata. daya naman. eto pa namang phone na to inaabangan ko.

    • I think free yan sa 1499, yung may kasamang UnliSurf Combo.

actually plan 999 lang ung 1499 monthly na un Neil. ung 500, installment for the 12k cashout(kung may Credit Card). disappointing nga ung plan nila.:( excited pa naman ako sa phone na to.
