How much is your blog worth?
Not just any of those just-fun, online personality tests you’ll be taking today (via BoingBoing):
Inspired by Tristan Louis’s research into the value of each link to Weblogs Inc… this little applet using Technorati’s API which computes and displays your blog’s worth using the same link to dollar ratio as the AOL-Weblogs Inc deal.
And here’s Pinoy Tech Blog’s test result:

My blog is worth $35,566.02.
How much is your blog worth?
Don’t you just wish that could be easily manifested in reality.

*sigh* if only some company would be really willing to pay the same amount based on that test. hehe
Didn’t you get the trick… the guy increased his blogs worth by putting up the page!
OMG. you are right!!!
I was curious about this, but then I realized it’s just one of those memes. Perhaps one day my brain will function well enough to think of something like that. The problem with the methodology tough is that it’s based soley on Technorati link data. # of inbound links do not always result in increase in traffic or unique visitors — measurements that surely should have weight on blog “value”.
