Huawei Ascend Y210D, 3.5” Dual-SIM Android for Php2,990
Huawei recently announced the availability of an affordable dual-SIM Android smartphone to the market, the Ascend Y210D which they anticipate to be a hot-selling phone for 2013.
The Huawei Ascend Y210D is as basic as it gets for an Android phone today but can still meet the needs of a casual smartphone user. It’s biggest appeal would be the dual-SIM capability at a sub-Php3k price point.
It has a 3.5-inch screen and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor with 256MB RAM and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Rear camera is at 2-megapixels with no front-facing one. It runs on a 1700mAh battery which should go a long way for this entry-level dual-SIM phone.
Huawei Ascend Y210D is now available for PhP2,990 at MemoXpress shops (nationwide); Globotel Greenbelt 1, Bluelite, 2823 Sta Lucia, BSD SM Megamall, Techno Mobile, Comcentre, and Mobile Networks in Metro Manila; RC Goldline shops in Cebu; and Tekpone shops in Davao.

for a thousand pesos more, i’d rather get another a tested dual sim / dual core cherry mobile flare.
Parang Cherry Mobile W100 lang, and it sells for the same price. I’d go for Huawei any day if that’s the case.

Warning…. phone has a very low memory…. cannot play games as it cannot launch them…. System app takes 60-70% of its processing power… only good for music calls or (a regular phone) even facebook app closes time to time when used for 30mins
That’s the reason why you have to root the phone. Para apps would automatically go to external memory.

I HAVE THIS PHONE FOR A MONTH NOW. SIMPLE, AFFORDABLE AND RELIABLE. MUCH MORE WHEN I LOADED A BATTERY SAVER ++++++++ IT EXTENDED THE BATTERY LIFE EVEN MORE!!!! I DON’T ENCOUNTER ANY PROBLEMS.

Mabilis naman yun yahoomail at facebook. Sa android market maraming keypad na chinese characters pwede mo i download. Pati sizes ng keypad pwede ma adjust.
compatible po b ung memory extender dto pra khit low memory pwede ma expand.
Bumili ako nito pero isang bagay ang napansin ko…kahit naka set sa always vibrate yung settings ko sa sound/silent settings sa mga incoming calls at messages…hindi siya nagba-vibrate kapag example nakareceive ako ng message or incoming call. Any idea? Ganiyan din ba sa inyo?

Ok na nakita ko na sa settings ng messages na mai i-o-on akong vibrate. All working na except sa napansin ko na lang na may time na nagrestart siya as in nag-off then on uli yung phone, bugs or os problem maybe.
thephone’s ok I bought it to replace my old Nokia dual SIM. I only wanted a dual SIM na android. para mas madali magbasa ng text. ang problema lang talaga ay maliit ang keyboard pareho din sa galaxy y duos. lalo.na pag sanay ka.sa note me learning curve.
btw there’s a site that teaches you how to root and install link2sd para mas marami kang mainstall na apps.

Meron ako nito. nagrerestart lang pag heavy games hindi malaro dahil sa low ram. Pero sa QWERTY issue, nasolve ko sha using ADAPTXT phonepad downloaded from google play. Qwerty problem solved. adjustable pa yung font settinngs.
