Lenovo Kaby Lake Powered Thinkpads have Arrived

Lenovo has been coming out with some great devices. Their ThinkPad line of laptops, have been a standard for durability and overall performance. This year they announced that a new wave of Lenovo Kaby Lake powered ThinkPads are coming to the Philippines.

According to Lenovo Philippines General Manager Michael Ngan, the new ThinkPads are designed for todays on-the-go life style. Observing the trend of faster and more collaborative workspaces, Lenovo is aiming for machines to fit the bill. According to Ngan, these devices are designed to be more flexible and agile.

The four ThinkPad products were revealed to be the ThinkPad E470, ThinkPad T470, ThinkPad X270, and the ThinkStation P410. During the development of these machines, Lenovo had customer needs in mind, wanting to make products that can handle the demands of today’s market.

Features addressing these are a Premium Touchpad that supports Microsoft Precision Touchpad for a smoother user experience. There is also a fingerprint sensor as well as support for Windows Hello facial recognition login. These improve the security of the Lenovo Kaby Lake powered ThinkPads. Also, these devices support the USB 3 Thunderbolt . It’s also equipped with a protection chip to address power levels with the ThinkPads.

Under the hood, the new ThinkPads are powered by the Intel 7th  Generation Kaby Lake processors. These processors make for faster processing, better clock speed, better graphics, and overall improved performance. The Kaby Lakes Hyper Threading feature allows for better multi-tasking. Making it fit for 3D, video, and graphic editors.

The Lenovo ThinkPad E470 is now available in the country for Php 36,990. The ThinkPad T470 is priced at Php 62,990, the ThinPad X270 is at Php 89,990, and the ThinkStation P410 is at Php 87,990. All three devices are set to hit the local market by April of this year
