If you’ve been holding up in purchasing that Microsoft Office 2007 license because Office 2010 is just around the corner (expected in June), no need to wait because Microsoft is offering a tech guarantee for customers who purchase Office 2007 beginning March 5 – September 23, 2010.
Yep, new Office 2007 customers can download the Office 2010 come June at no additional cost for their free upgrade.
To be eligible for the Office 2010 Technology Guarantee program, you must:
- Purchase Office 2007, or a new PC with Office 2007, and activate it between March 5, 2010 and September 30, 2010
- Have, or create a Windows Live ID
- Redeem your Tech Guarantee before October 31, 2010 by visiting www.office.com/techg
That’s it! No need to go back to your store for a CD installer. If you want to try out Microsoft Office 2010, there’s a beta version available at www.office.com/beta.
