WAP Browsing with Opera Mini™
If your mobile phone is sadly out-of-date, but it can run Java, say goodbye to your text-heavy, graphics-lonely WAP browser, and get this:
Opera Mini™ is a fast and easy alternative to Opera’s mobile browser, allowing users to access the Web on mobile phones that would normally be incapable of running a Web browser… Instead of requiring the phone to process Web pages, it uses a remote server to pre-process the page before sending it to the phone. This makes Opera Mini™ perfect for phones with very low resources, or low bandwidth connections [source]
Thing is, its only available now for download straight to your phone in Norway. There’s no official link (wink -but there are unofficial links- wink) in the Opera website to download the installer.
Globe? Smart? Sun? Care to add value to your millions of subscribers? While your doing that, can you also lower your WAP charges? Because the rates I’d spend with 10 minutes on WAP browsing will translate to a wiser decision to purchase 9-10 hours prepaid internet card.

We are spending too much on our mobiles. .Why not browsing and downloading free of charges then? When internet connections (smart/globe broadbands) are racing to lower their rates to catch up the consumers attention? Are the mobile networks (smart/globe networks) are slowly but surely killing the mobiles without GPRS connection? . . .huh!???
