Nokia Asha 205, Dual-SIM QWERTY phone for only Php2,680

If you’re in the market for an inexpensive dual-SIM phone that doesn’t look cheap or bad, do check out the Nokia Asha 205. It’s Nokia’s most affordable QWERTY phone at only Php2,680 and it also comes with a dedicated Facebook button making itself a target for students or people who want a quick access to their Facebook profile. This is not your run-of-the-mill ordinary QWERTY phone. Nokia also equipped this with an easy access to eBuddy Chat, Twitter, and also to Gmail so you’re just a few clicks away from your social network.

Nokia also introduced an exclusive feature called Slam and the Nokia Asha 205 is one of the first to have it. Slam allows you to share multimedia files to a nearby device that supports it (doesn’t necessarily have it installed). It uses Bluetooth so you won’t be charge for internet data, and it doesn’t require you to search and pair the other device like your regular Bluetooth. It’s not compatible with iOS and Windows Phone though.

Other key features of the Nokia Asha 205 Dual SIM include:

  • eBuddy screen notifications that keep users up-to-the-minute on new conversations
  • The free Nokia Life+ web app, including the Life Skills and Live Healthy services
  • A comprehensive mobile entertainment package, including 40 free EA Games available for download, along with tens of thousands of other apps available from the Nokia Store
  • Nokia’s exclusive EasySwap technology that enables consumers to change SIM cards without having to turn off the device
  • The Nokia Asha 205 Dual SIM phone remembers the settings of up to five SIM cards making it easy to switch between making calls or using the Internet
  • Great standby time: up to 25 days

The new device takes full advantage of the Nokia Xpress Internet platform, which uses Nokia’s cloud technology to reduce data consumption by up to 90%, helping consumers enjoy more affordable Internet access. It also features Nokia Nearby, a web app that helps consumers discover points of interest such as restaurants, shopping and ATM close to their location.

The Nokia Asha 205 Dual SIM is available in colors Cyan, Magenta and Orange and has an SRP of Php2,680.

  1. so far maganda sa budget I’ll try this model kasi I had a bad experience with the ASHA 200 dual sim, i still had 4 months of warranty left and laging nag hahang ang phone , i never stored files on the phone memory kasi alam ko babagal lang, when i had the unit cheched sa nokia service center sabi nila wala na daw warranty kasi may corroded na terminal sa board, i took care of my ohone kaya wala man lang scratches , they even let me pay 200Php just for the diagnose.
