To Danny: The new Ovi Maps application supports turn-by-turn voice guidance for navigation. No need for cellphone signal. Ovi Maps can be used in OFFLINE mode. To use Ovi Maps offline (assuming you’ve already download the required map data), just go to MENU->INTERNET->CONNECTION->OFFLINE. We cannot guarantee the navigation accuracy and it does not provide traffic info in the Philippines yet. But what’s cool is that you can use Ovi Maps to easily update your Facebook profile with status including photo and your location. =)

Have anyone tried this in the Philippines? How does it provide turn-by-turn navigation? Does it need a cellphone signal(3G?) and what carrier supports it? How accurate is it and does it also provide traffic info? Thanks!
