Globe Telecom will officially release the Apple iPhone 3GS on July 31 and will start taking in order on the 15th. The official price on postpaid and prepaid kits of the iPhone 3GS are as follows:

Bro, you’ve got a typo in the prepaid kits. The second one is probly the 32GB, not 16GB. Of course, anyone with half a brain could figure that out
how many years would the regular plans be be paid? 2 years?

never heard kung pwede nga ma unlock via redsnow…anyways, i am glad meron nang iphone dito sa pinas and as much as 400 monthly postpaid plan, i am sure, many will avail Globe iphone 3Gs plan at kasama na ako dun!
mukhang pwede na akong mag iphone now…makapag inquire nga sa Globe mamaya. eh panu pag naka Gflex plan ka, do i need to apply for another plan or pwede diretso na?confused lang…

@poor- mukhang nagkakaubusan na, kasi kami nagpa-reserve na nung July 16 pa lang at nung Aug 3 lang namin nakuha. mukhang kailangan pa nila mag order ng marami rami pa kc madami pang interested mag avail ng plan nila. imagine they have plan for as low as 400? about naman sa kung pwede na makuha agad kung magprepaid kit ka?hmm…yan ang hindi ko alam…visit ka na lang sa business center nila!

Inquiring about possible iphone 3Gs plan by ringing globe center up but to no avail. Due to work constraints and besides having no globe center in my province, i cannot visit any. Seeing this thread, there seems to be “shortage” in the supply. Anyone who could inquire if so? I wanted to purchase one (tatawid pa ako ng dagat, then sakay uli sa bus in case i end up going to manila.hehe) if only to be assured that i would end up getting one and not going back empty-handed.
I have been a LOYAL subscriber of Globe for more than 10 years now. It just sucks to know that their quality of their service to their consumers has rapidly been getting worse.
And their customer loyalty department? It seems like their goal is to have people transfer their lines to their competitors. Kung hindi pa ako magagalit, hindi pa tatawag “Loyalty” Department nila.
Hindi makatarungan na itong iPhone eh paghihintayin nila subscriber nila. Ang nakakatawa pa, iba iba sinasabi ng Customer Service reps. So funny, it seems like they don’t know what they’re talking about.
Malas, at napunta ang iPhone sa Globe. Sana sa Smart na lang.
I am particularly interested in the 32GB Iphone 3GS but when i called Globe and visited their website, the price of the 32GB is Php 45,250.00…a bit more expensive than what is stated in the post…but is still a lot more cheaper than in HK (Php 50,000) and I am a Globe subscriber anyway so i don’t really mind being strapped to the plan
Considering to get one in the coming weeks, dunno if Smart would be coming out with anything though so for now, this is my best bet.

I so love my IPhone3gs 32GB, i got mine last august 13 here in Gensan snd so far its a breeze…LOVE LOVE it!!!
all my albums on my macbook pro around 168 of them and counting was all moved and sync to my IPhone 3GS now i can carry around all my favorite music wherever i go and if there is a need to check my email the wifi is so great just like I am using my mac…
i held back several iphone model before getting one, this time around when they include GPS capability and video recording i said now is the time to own one!
its a little bit pricey but its all worth it!
I have the same sentiments as Andrea Amparo. I have been a loyal Globe user since I got my very first mobile phone 12 years ago. I reserved for an Iphone 3GS 2 months ago and until now they are saying that its out of stock. I called up again yesterday kasi may friend ako na nakakuha ng ng Iphone 3GS pero sya new line, nagreklamo ako sa customer service pero sabi nila prioritized daw ang new lines over existing customers. For a loyal customer like me, nakakainis talaga un. To think I have been waiting for this phone for 2 months na, I have been using a broken old phone for 2 months just to wait for it. All I can say is Globe’s customer service is deteriorating. I am already going to switch to Smart because of this.
