Olympus Tough 8000 Stress Test

Olympus recently launched their newest line of ruggedized compact digital camera that can take a good beating both in high places and under water. The Olympus Mju Tough 8000 was put under our stress test.

The Olympus Tough 8000 can handle a drop from 6.5 feet or go under water of up to 33 feet (10 meters).

Likewise, the camera cans till function below freezing point — 10 degrees below zero or 14 degrees Fahrenheit. You can even step on it and will still carry a weight of up to 100kg or 220 lbs. Now, that is tough.

This model will sell for about Php25,000 in stores.
