Project Gutenberg, Proyektong Gutenberg ng Pilipinas

You love reading? You must have heard of Project Gutenberg. That’s where I got some copies of classics like Daddy Long Legs. What I didn’t know is that there is a local Project Gutenberg – Proyektong Gutenberg ng Pilipinas. Through an email on the debian-tl mailing list, I learned of this project.

This is the page listing the books about the Philippines in Project Gutenberg. As the site says though, there’s still so much work to be done and if you’re interested you could get started on it by joining the proofreaders’ group.
