Samsung updates 2View Digital Camera lineup with PL151 and PL101

Last year, the introduction of Samsung 2View camera was a first in the digital camera industry and was widely accepted by consumers, especially those people who enjoy taking pictures of themselves.

A lot of people found the ST550 and the ST500 too expensive for their taste and they can do without the touchscreen feature. With that, Samsung updated the lineup with a non-touchscreen version and upgraded features while bringing the price down at the same time. The PL151 and PL150.

The front LCD screen of the PL151 and PL150 can now be used for video recording. The PL151 boasts of a gorgeous 720p HD video recording by the way. The children mode for the front LCD now has music to better capture the attention of your kid when taking his or her photo.

The new Samsung 2View cameras also has a Smile Shot feature which triggers the shot when a smile is detected. There’s also a Couple Shot that allows users to set the camera to snap a picture when the subjects in the frame tilt their heads toward one another. Excellent features for self-photography right?

I would definitely go for the PL151 despite the 4k difference. The wide-angle lens, HD video recording mode, Dual Image stabilization are features you should really consider.
