Share your QWERTY story and win a Nokia Asha phone
The upcoming Nokia Asha is the latest line of Series 40 phones from Nokia with an entry-level price but with close to smartphone features designed for emerging markets like ours.
Nokia Philippines is giving you the opportunity to win either an Asha 200 or an Asha 303 through this “Why do you QWERTY!” promo. All you need to do is write a 200-word essay on the topic: “How using a QWERTY phone changed my mobile life for the better”. It should describe your positive experience and interesting anecdotes about using your QWERTY phone.
Your essay should come with a photo (JPEG only please) of yourself and your QWERTY phone. You can send your entry via email to nokiaqwertypromo@ovi.com no later than Dec 30, 2011, 11:59PM.
Entries will be judged according to:
- Uniqueness – 40%
- Relevance – 30%
- Visual Quality of the Photo – 30%
- 3rd place – Nokia Asha 200
- 2nd place – Nokia Asha 303
- 1st place – 2x Nokia Asha 200
- Grand prize – 2x Nokia Asha 303

The Nokia Asha 200 is similar to the Nokia C3 but with dual-sim capability, really loud speakers and up to 32GB storage for your music. The Nokia Asha 303 is also a QWERTY phone but with a touch-screen display. It doesn’t have dual-sim but you’ll get 3G and WiFi and also a 1GHz processor. Both phones come with Angry Birds for S40 installed.
So if you want to be among the first to own these phones, try your hand on this “Why do you QWERTY” promo by Nokia. Remember, deadline of submission of entries is on December 30, 2011.
