Sony Vaio P gets official

Sony’s own version of a netbook is somewhat different from the rest of the netbooks we grew to know and love. Officially announced today, the 1.4-lbs Sony Vaio P will try to change the way you look at portables.
This 8-inch laptop is claimed to be the lightest in the netbook world in its class, according to Sony. The specs are amazing… and so are the prices.

Price tag starts at $899.99 but may go up to $1,499 with the SSD option and add-ons.
