Starmobile Diamond V3, 5.3-inch quad-core phablet priced at Php8,990
Starmobile just announced the availability of one of their latest dual-SIM quad-core phablets, the 5.3-inch Diamond V3, which will start showing up on all of their stores and kiosks nationwide tomorrow (June 25) for just Php8,990.
The Starmobile Diamond V3 sports a 5.3-inch FWVGA display protected by Dragontrail glass technology. It is equipped with a Qualcomm 8225Q 1.2Ghz quad-core processor which is Qualcomm’s current budget quad-core chip that uses an old Adreno 203 GPU. There’s also the typical 1GB RAM and 4GB storage with microSD combination.
For camera, the Diamond V3 comes with a 12-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing one, both with backside illuminated (BSI) sensors for decent low light shots coming from a budget phone. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a 2,100 mAh battery.
At just Php8,990 the Diamond V3 is priced lower than the original Diamond (now Php7,990) when it first came out.
Here’s an additional treat for Diamond V3 buyers, Starmobile will be including an 8GB microSD card, a screen protector which you really don’t need, and an InstaCase with every purchase of this phablet.
