Ubuntu Edgy screenshots
A reader commented that open-source cannot compete with Windows’ functionality. Those who still have this impression should try Ubuntu.
If you still think Linux is not user-friendly and isn’t ready for prime time, here are a few screenshots of the latest beta version, codenamed Edgy.

Edgy is already on its 3rd iteration and it features the new Firefox beta. You can download Ubuntu Edgy knot-3 here. For the latest stable version, download Dapper.

i’ll try..windows keeps bugging me.
unless it can run atleast 10 (not 1 but 10) decent online and offline games, then i will give it a shot..
If games are your priorities, then you can check out wine, which lets you run windows applications in Linux.
They have an application database with games listed. Also visit Frank’s corner for more.
sorry, i mean decent games that kids and enthusiast (pinoys that is) would actually pay money to play..
I’ll give this a try in Ubuntu:
Crossover which can, according to Desktoplinux can enable Linux to run games like WOW and CS.
best of all types of linux
