Untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1 now available, but not for the iPad 2
The iPhone-Dev team just released their latest jailbreak for iPod devices and the original iPad running iOS 4.3.1. Redsnow 0.9.6RC9 will give you an untethered jailbreak for your device.
This 4.3.1 jailbreak is applicable to the following devices:
- iPhone3GS
- iPhone4 (GSM)
- iPod touch 3G
- iPod touch 4G
- iPad1
Unfortunately, the iPad 2 is not included in the list since it requires a new bootrom exploit. The Limera1n and SHAtter bootrom won’t work anymore on the new iPad. Something to consider before ordering the new iPad.

As usual, iPhone users who needs a baseband unlock will have to wait for an updated Ultrasn0w. Or you can use Sn0wbreeze instead.

just a noob question sir, Could I easily Jailbreak my device eventhough I would not go to greenhills and make them jailbreak my device?
absolutely. it’s pretty easy to jailbreak your ipod. lots of tutorials are out there.
Another Question sir,i found a one swipe jailbreaking on youtube, i believe its sprint iguess? and the like site of jailbreakme.com… What do you think would be the best the long process like of the PWNED or redsnow or the shortcut? what is the difference between the two? thanks!
jailbreakme.com was used in 4.0 i think. it was really easy to jailbreak using thie site but it’s won’t work for 4.3.1 since apple patched that exploit already. only redsn0w and sn0wbreeze can jailbreak ios 4.3.1 as of the moment.
