Western Digital opens first service center in the Philippines
Western Digital officially announced today the opening of its first service center in the country to strengthen distribution and end-user support of its products. The WD service center will cater to all customers of WD products which includes internal and external hard drives, as well as their popular range of home entertainment products.
Not only will customers get quick and local support for their products, this service center will also provide speedy RMA service assistance. Before, if your hard drive needs replacement, local distributors have to ship it back to Singapore and have wait for a replacement.
Having a local service center, customers will be able to bring their in-warranty drives to WD Service Center and receive their replacement drive immediately. If the required model is not available, WD Service Center representatives will contact customers for collection of their replacement drives once ready. This warranty service is available on all WD products sold through WD authorized distribution channels in the Philippines.
The Philippine WD Service Center is located at 2111 Chino Roces avenue corner Urban Avenue, Makati City. Operating hours are as follows:
- Monday – 8AM to 5PM
- Tuesday to Friday – 8AM to 6PM
- Saturday – 8AM to 12PM
- Sundays and Holidays – Closed

Hi dito din po ba pwedeng magpa recover ng files? nakalagay po kasi na ” you need to format DRive I before you use it” ano po ang pwede ko magawa need ko po talaga marecover

i don’t think they do file recovery. pag ganyan na corrupt ata yung MBR and malala yun.
Sir Calvin,yun din problem ko,i have WD 1TB,bigla na lang di sya madetect ng pc ko,nung dinala ko sa binilhan ko,willing naman silang palitan,kasi under warrantty pa sya,kaso meron din akong kailangan na mga files,kaya plan ko sana dalhin dito sa service center ng WD para marecover yung mga files,san ko po kaya pede dalhin for recovery? anyone po na may alam ng contact number ng wd service center?

Yun din po question ko, kasi I do have a WD 320GB caviar se..
bios can’t detect it. I’ve researched na on how to fix this, and I learned that you need to replace the main board of the hard drive. so do they fix this kind of problem even though you don’t have a warranty? cause this hard drive was originally came from UAE and was built on a pc.
if they can fix it, it will be for a fee.
papaano po ang File Recovery ksi kahit na palitan ksi under warranty pa pero ang important ay yung files sa loob. san po ba pwede ipa recover ang files?

wla nga silang magagawa kundi palitan ang unit.. so hindi ko alam kung bakit sila tinawag na service center dahil wla naman service na gagawin sa defective na units nila
Pano po ang File Recovery? San po pwede dalin dahil dun sa service center sa Chino Roces palit lang ang pwede kahit under warranty pa.

What if sa UAE pa binili ung hdd then the box is nowhere to find so how can i check the warranty of the HDD. Bigay lang kasi sakin ng kapatid ko ito eh.

WD mypassport. pag isasaksak ko na ung usb sa port may tumutunog gling sa harddrive ko…. tpos d lumalabas sa bc ko …..
gudday..WD My book essential 3TB yung sakin pariho tau ng setwasyun…my tumutunog din galing sa harddrive ko.at hindi ma read ang laman nga HDD.
The service center will only repair their stuff which is still within the warranty period! If your WD equipment fails after the warranty period, then it’s a piece of junk! That’s what they said at their call center.
i have my externalharddrive 3TB WD my book essential.after 6month used ko,ngaun bigla nlng hindi mag open,hindi na ma read ng laptop ko ang laman,talagang totaly “acces file denied”…hindi nmn na bagsak..anu pweding gawin dito.?hope u reply tnx…by thw ma repair pa ba to.?
Same this happen to me last Dec 26th. I lost all files in my WD extrenal hard drive. Please help recover.

naku… Ganun din ako.. Sa akin, internal hdd naman sa akin.. Isang gabi ay kakatapos ko lang gumamit ng pc. Then pag-open ko,hindi na sya madetect ng pc ko. Tapos pinakinggan ko kung umaandar pa ung hdd ko. So dun ko nalaman na hindi na pala gumagana. Papanu na kaya un? Wala naman akong ginawa kahit bagsak. May mga importanteng files pa naman ako dun.. Sana pwede pa marecover un.
