On November 10, 2005, MMMMUG will sponsor the World Usability Day events here in Manila. There will be a Usability Training that will be held at the National Computer Center in Diliman, Q.C. Slots are limited and for those who would want to attend the training, please email my friend regnard@raquedan.com, the user group manager.
I think there are 5 more slots open.
Too many Filipino web apps fall prey to the archipelagic mindset: forbidding, closed-garden insularity. That attitude won’t make money or spread ideas in networked markets.
On the other hand, Filipinos are famed for their hospitality. Good to see MMMUG help Filipinos translate that hospitality onto the Web.
According to the worldusability.org site, there will be a usability Exhibit tomorrow.
