Yahoo! Hosts David Beckham’s Global Interview
Yahoo ! hosts an exclusive global interview with global sporting icon David Beckham on July 14. Beckham fans are asked to prepare their ultimate question to the famous football player.
The event will happen in London at 9:30PM (Manila Time). 18 countries around the world can participate by simultaneous video connection through video utilising Cisco’s TelePresence high definition video suites. The participants are from UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, USA, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and India.
The first ever global interview will lasts for 90 minutes for Beckham to answer on-the-spot questions from his fans.
Beckham has already signed a global sponsorship deal to serve as Yahoo!’s Global Sports Ambassador.
“It’s always great interacting with fans, but I’ve never been partof an interview quite like this – being able to take questions direct from people in 18different countries across five continents. It’s definitely a first for me,” Beckham said.
The interview will be streamed live on Yahoo! Singapore at http://ph.yahoo.com. Viewers will have the opportunity to submit their own questions live during the event through Yahoo! Mail, Beckham’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/IBM.SG#!/Beckham?ref=ts) , the Yahoo! World Football Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/IBM.SG#!/YahooWorldFootball?ref=mf) and Twitter using the hashtag #Y!DB.
