YouTube content on AppleTV

Starting this June (which is today, supposedly), you can browse and watch thousands of free YouTube videos streaming directly from the Internet, as the Apple website announced.

That may just be enough to sell AppleTVs here in the Philippines. Now, I’m even considering getting one. But then again, there are still a lot of reasons not to buy one. Or at least not yet.

  1. I think this is more like a Google play. When YouTube was independent, they didn’t have the tech knowhow to adapt the content to other formats.
