ASUS Philippines proudly participated in the Panagbenga Festival this 2017, furthering their community advocacies.
ASUS and Local Communities
Now, the first significant step in doing so for this event involved unveiling the ASUS Zenfone Float. This kind of immersion showcased how involved ASUS Philippines truly wants to be with the locals. It even won 2nd runner-up in the Small Float Category. As planned, all their winnings went to Baguio City National High School. Specifically, this donation worth PHP 100,000 came in the form of brand new ASUS computer equipment.
Even though our teachers are trained in using manila paper and cartolina as teaching aids, it would still be better with a laptop because that’s now the common medium for instruction. And with these new computer equipment, I know our teachers will be able to deliver better lectures,

The school will use the new ASUS equipment in its Hillside Annex, which hosts 250 students and 9 teachers. Presumably, this will help greatly as they currently do not have a computer lab with functional units.
