This is a joke right? Where is the asus’ promise of affordability here? $349 becAme $545 (23,995 php). Almost 15k increase in price. Go home asus philippines, you’re drunk!

    • Ricky

Go Home Anon your definitely drunk!

This is the Philippines where government taxes are even higher, so many stupid government processes to ship in especially for gadgets and we’re not in america to compare prices.

Plus that is the 64GB variant not the 32GB.

      • Optimus

        Anon is right.

Very much overpriced. 64GB variant in the US is only $399. Shipping and taxes won’t reach $150.

Hi, Ricky! I was definitely sober when I wrote my comment. And asus was not when they decided to announce the price for the T100.

It’s an honest mistake, it should be $399. And still, it’s not even close! Considering the taxes brought about by our corrupt government, it could have been more reasonable if it was 20,000php.

My point is, Asus Philippines is out of their minds. Look at their previous releases and tell me their not overpricing.

yes youre right. Asus Ph is really overpricing their products. just like its memo pad hd 7. i was really disappointed with their pricing because they incereased around $50-$60 for the memo pad hd 7. alam naman nating may VAT pero meron naman silang malaking discount jaan kasi official distributor sila ng Asus products dito sa ating bansa tas magpapatong pa sila nang malaking halaga. sigh. hintay nalang tayo na mag price drop ang mga iyan.

        • Jethro

pero pag priced dropped na yan bka may lumabas na masbago o kya nman prone sya sa PHASING OUT!!! nku.

  • Amazing features for a netbook. I like the way it can be used differently as a tablet or as a laptop. Asus has never ceased to impress their customers.

  • Optimus

Very much overpriced. 64GB variant in the US is only $399. 32GB variant in the US is lower at $349. $399 vs $550 is amazing. Shipping and taxes won’t reach $150.

For comparison, Microsoft surface tablets at $349 (32GB) in the US are being sold locally at its peso equivalent.

  • Van

Where can I buy a surface pro here in the Ph?

    • orange
