The ASUS Zenfone 5 series Philippines launch seems much closer than ever. Launched globally in Taiwan two days ago, ASUS plans on launching all Zenfone 5 phones in the country on April 14.
The first of its kind among ASUS smartphones, the 6.2-inch 19:9 ZenFone 5Z comes boasts a 90% screen-to-body ratio. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with AIE. This includes the Hexagon 685 Vector DSP, Adreno 630 Graphics, and Kryo 385 CPU. Performance also remains snappy through 6Gb RAM and 64Gb ROM. On the other hand, its X20 Gigabit LTE modem and 802.11ac Wi-Fi capabilities help maintain fast browsing speeds.

On the other hand, the ZenFone 5 runs on the latest Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform and comes with a dual-camera system. Its dual camera system touts an f/1.8 Sony IMX 363 sensor and a wide-angle secondary camera. The cameras also feature AI, letting it adapt and learn as it takes more photos, and four-axis OIS. Other camera features include AI Scene Detection for 16 different scenes and objects, AI Photo Learning, Real-time Portrait and Real-time Beautification.
ASUS ZenFone 5Q
Meanwhile, the 6-inch 18:9 ZenFone 5Q rocks a high-resolution quad-camera setup, and wide-angle front and rear cameras. Its front-facing camera can shoot up to 20MP, the rear camera at 16MP. Each camera works separately for every photo, which helps enhance them. The ZenFone 5Q runs on the Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform and comes with NFC.
