Having a Pokémon match now has an all-new meaning. A dating service called Project Fixup has jumped into the Pokémon Go hype, and created PokéDates – a new dating site that matches you with other players of the popular AR game.
Finding your PokéDate is quite easy – you simply answer a few question about yourself, then share your most convenient time and place (A PokéStop or Poke Gym, maybe?) to meet-up. After that you’d get an email confirming the meeting details. If all goes well, you can start to “catch ‘em all”…together!
Thing is, after the first date, using the service would cost you $20 / date, which may not be feasible in a market like the Philippines where other dating and matching apps like Tinder and Skout are being offered for free. Well, not that Pokémon Go is already available in the Philippines anyways.
