CloudFone Thrill 450q, 4.5-inch qHD quad-core dual-SIM phone for Php8,999

From the makers of the Thrill 430x and its 4130mAh battery comes another thrilling device, the CloudFone Thrill 450q, which just started making its way in  stores this week.

Now the Thrill 450q doesn’t have the stamina of the 430x but it does have a slim and good-looking body. It sports a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display  with One Glass Solution (OGS) technology for a picture quality that looked like its ready to pop out of the screen. To add to its looks, it has a notification LED incorporated in the design at the bottom of the phone. A silver band running along the sides adds accent to this phone.

The Thrill 450q is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM and runs on stock Android 4.1 Jelly Bean so performance runs smoothly. It also has a 4GB internal storage with microSD support of up to 32GB. Its dual-SIM slots come in the form of a microSIM and a regular SIM.

The back panel is made of plastic with a glossy finish and a protruding 12-megapixel camera with BSI sensor. Upon short testing, the camera has good output and is relatively fast to focus for its class. There’s also a 3-megapixel camera up front.

Battery on the Thrill 450q is just at 1800mAh but that’s the price you have to pay to get a slim-looking phone. As an added bonus, CloudFone is shipping a 4400mAh portable power bank with every purchase of the Thrill 450q. This phone is already available in Black and White with an SRP of Php8,999.

    • how did it fail for you jake?

      • jake

ok, not totally FAIL but slightly fail.

Just for its price. It is a little bit pricey based on its specs, if you would compare it to others.

      • oo nga po ang MAHAL ng price nya… d ba yan baba?

  • Griswold

  • 245 ppi!?! Why so low…
I want sana kaso baba resolution. Mga China na quad pinakamababa 330ppi at 4.5K.

    • actually 245 is not bad…yung 330 mataas na sya. problem with china phones is that chinese din language or walang google play and most of all, walang support dito sa bansa.

    • Greetings everyone! any users of cloudfone thrill 450q? will you recommend it? did you encounter any issues? i’m planning to get one vs cm omega hd 2.0 for myself i’m just not convinced yet. thanks and more power!!

  • I kinda like this phone since it has a 3mp front facing cam but the internal memory….. can u save apps and install it sa SD card?

i’m kinda new sa mga android devices and i have an android tab from huawei and it just install apps sa internal memory so I got the idea that the internal memory must be decent for me to install more apps… am I wrong with this? can cloudfone thrill 450q save/ install apps via the sd card?

anyway, great site, I always visit this site for phone reviews… since i’m planning to buy my new phone this month for my birthday :]

    • yes you can… that’s a limitation of ice cream sandwich and they put it back nung jelly bean na.

      • ahh so with Jellybean i have now the option of saving apps on my SD card unlike in ICS [hahaha] sorry for being makulit since I’m not that techie eh, :]

I was browsing kasi of new phones/phablets na local brand since they’re cheaper but offers good specs yun nga lang i feared before that having a 4GB ROM will limit the number of apps that I can install eh puro medical apps pa naman ang ilalagay ko ^_^

Thank You for the info… looking forward for your new reviews

Im using cloudfone thrill 450q maganda at mabilis ang mga specs at applications! Isa lang problema ko walang signal! Mahina sumagap at totally wala page nasa loob ako ng bahay. I’m using all networks provider (sun.globe.smart) using ordinary phones lahat may signals considering also we’re using broadband sticks and wimax subscriptions.

Pero when I am using the newly bought unit even one bar my new phone can never had…planning to replace the unit now. Nakakapanghinayang Lang talaga.
