Expensive ang offer ng Globe. Then, for 1299 5GB Bandwidth lng?? Eh di im going to get dsl broadband n lng unlimmited net without bandwidth capped.

    • tomM

You obviously are not getting the gist of it. Different strokes for different folks. People have different needs. While you may need unlimited at home, many need data connection on the road or mostly outside the house. This is what this device is for.

try bringing your DSL anywhere outside the house..

Compared to Sun’s unlimited broadband (pocket) wifi, OP is correct – 1299 is too much if you are limited by bandwidth, which defeats the purpose of going LTE. Mabilis nga, mabilis mo rin mararating ang 5GB. I believe that’s his point and I agree with him. 3G speed is enough for surfing. You usually need LTE for multimedia – which are large files.

    • anonymous

If you need internet connection on the go then use SMART. It has way better LTE coverage than GLOBE.

    • Dmitri

I share similar sentiment with you. This is surely expensive than your regular plans even having to consider it’s portability. I suggest (depending on your taste) that you avail the plan 999 (Unlimited Surf plan) and then use your phone for tethering.

  • Kisuke

Still expensive.. hehehe.. if data is unlimited with no data cap. I might consider it. But you only have 5GB data per month.. damn harsh. and Plan 1299??? seriously???

  • bonicole

and Globe is very unreliable. so i think i’ll pass.

    • Pula

      I agree.

      • katkat

tama ka globe is very unreliable and unstable. i have this wimax 999. the first month it delivered what was expected bet 512kbps to 1mbps speed. the 2nd month naginga less than 512kbps which is the base speed i believe and on the third month, i was getting a speed of 40kbps at daytime. fast and furious early in the morning say 2 am to 5am. but speed steadily loses steam at around 7 am onwards (practically until late at night) i wasnt told of bandwidth cap etc. so, it appears the product is confusing and also unfair for the subscriber, to say the least. globe hasnt solved my problem as of this writing altho other subscribers in my area having same plan are not having this technical problem…. my verdict? globe wimax of 999/month 1mpbs plan sucks!!!

  • alvir

20mins lang ang byahe from cuty proper patungo samin peru walang signal ang globe tatto dito. sayang lang. inikot kona buong brgy namin. talagang walang signal. ang smart meron naman. kaso my time na nawawala ang signal. peru atleast meron.

    • Cguro malalayo site dyan sa inyo kaya cguro mabagal anf Smart kc d na inaabot

  • May I ask kung anung model ng pocket wifi ang gamit ng globe dito? at kung me nabibili pa neto thru pre paid or sa online store. Thanks!

  • nathan

I have a data plan with globe. Im using two phones. A sams ng and a lenovo. I dont want to leave my data open kaso ang lakas maka drain ng battery. :m wondering if my sim card data postpaid plan will work on this device. Thanks

  • Mark

May I ask if pwede itong prepaid?

    • kristeph

depende sa iaavail mo. my prepaid but upto 800mb lng ag kaya every 24hrs

      • 800mb/day is much better than 5GB/month..

Wlang kwenta ang 12mbps or higher if ubos na kaagad ang 5GB limit in just a few hours or days or less than a week.

  • JE

Hi can you share me your thoughts on this, I’m planning to buy yung pocket wifi ng globe hindi itong LTE yung Huawei pero pinagiisipan ko kung anong masmaganda ito ba or yung Ipad Mini na plan 999 din.

  • jc

LTE with capping ?? lol edi saglitan lang yan :!

    • mrkrabdribble

      Exactly! Labo!

  • jc

Fair Use Policy ??

  • anonymous

    LIVE WITHOUT LIMITS ROFL :):)))))))))))))))))))

    • Rab

Indeed, this tagline is so misleading. Ano ang ‘without limits’ sa globe?

  • joseph

yap my time tlga na mahina ang signal. at minsan kht full ung signal di ka naman makanet

  • kristeph

  • Dexter

Hi Sir Calvin, you sure this works with my lte postpaid mobile sim? Planning to buy one if gagana. thank you in advance!

    • what do you mean ayaw gumana? ayaw mag LTE or ayaw mag connect sa internet? iba kasi APN ng mobile sim sa broadband sim eh so change mo rin yung sa device.

    • Dexter

Ayaw magconnect sa internet sir when i used my mobile sim (unlisurf 999) dun sa broadband. Thank you ulit sir sa mabilis na reply

      • change the apn ng pocket wifi to internet.globe.com.ph

Gusto ko sanang palitan, ang problema naka lock in or under contract.Sana sabihin ang katotohanan upang huwag tayong mapasubo.Mayron pa ba akong magagawa pls advice me. thank you all.

  • eki

Very Expensive Indeed.. Should be 15GB for 1299, 500 additional 10GB

  • nganga
