Lazada Online Store now serving the Philippines

You may have already seen their ads already in blogs and websites. Lazada, the Philippines’ most comprehensive online shopping store is officially up and running which they announced in an intimate launch with bloggers recently to promote their site.


Lazada.com.ph is part of the Rocket Internet GmBH, a German-based Internet company which promises to bring top consumer items to the online Filipino market from electronic items, to home and living, health & beauty to books. They now have more or less 4,000 products ready to be purchased online.

Payment system is very familiar to online buyers. You can pay via COD, bank deposit, credit card or debit card facilities. Delivery system usually takes 3 to 5 days upon purchase and it will be delivered to your doorstep via Xend.

Since March, they have been offering free shipping nationwide for a limited time. No date yet has been disclosed as to when this free shipping will end so you might want to take advantage of it.

They also got the longest warranty return policy of 14 days. If you found a defective item delivered to you, just send an e-mail to Lazada, XEND picks up your item for replacement and you’ll get a new item again.

Lazada is also present in other ASEAN countries like Malysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan.

      lazada has an affordable items like the latest’s android phone…i wonder if they take a financing price for an item??? coz i want to buy a samsung phone but my parent’s disagree because of my studies….?

      You can do the cash on delivery. Just pay it once it was delivered.

    I keep getting emails everyday from this online shop yet i didn’t sign up to get updates from them nor have i visited their site. One day it just appeared in my inbox.

  • Dont trust this LAZADA Online shopping… Napaka panget nila as in.. THEY’RE ALWAYS CANCELLED SOME ORDER pag alam nila na di sila makakakuha ng Profit. at first Customer Service will verified your order then after few hours minsan nga few minutes lang eh. they will call again. and they will said that ” MAM/SIR SORRY KASI OUT OF STOCKED PO YUNG ORDER NIYO kya po cancelled po namin or my TECHNICAL PROBLEM. ganyan ang sinabi nila smin ng mga friend ko. Nakakahiya expected namin un order namin tpos biglang CANCELLED. OH! diba nakaka inis.. pinapaasa nila yung mga buyer nila. and madami na din ako naririnig na panget ang Company nila. kaya If I where you “DONT TRUST THEM”

      oo wag mag tiwala lalo na mag bayad… kapag nag bayad ka na goodbye na ang orders mo… buwan ang bibilangi minsan sira o defective pa ang item pag dating sa inyo…

    @ Ashley Belen.. OMG!!! i placed my order pa naman last August 24 and pay it last August 28,2012…Stupid of mine i don’t make a research regarding with their website. Just encourage to order from their site because of the good advertisement in ABS-CBN….:( hu hu hu hu….:(

        Well, I guess I am lucky. I order a Camel Flat Screen T.V 32 inches through COD last Dec.31,2012 and they said that it would be delivered approximate date is Jan.15,the longest since they were on Holiday season but luckily my family received the item last Jan.7 so siguro naman hindi lahat ay negative regarding this online store…,just saying.

  • hay naku!!! alam nyo ba kung anu ang bagong news regarding to their company nag conduct sila force resignation sa mga tao nila if im not mistaken kung tama ang nabasa ko more or less 60 employee ang tinangal nila in just 1 day. See how stupid they are???

    i think lazada is just good because of their name but… but they just want to trick people for gaining profits…..i heard that they’re company is a trash……OMG if i were you…i’d rather buy items on our nearest store like SM or ROBINSON

  • maybe I should post this too…Nagorder din ako sa Lazada(a tablet) last September 11, 2012. It was a CASH ON DELIVERY coz it’s my first time to purchase from them and big amount is involve so I want to try if it’s for real. They confirm my order then the next day I receive a text message from them telling that my order had been process and ship and expect 24 hours delivery. Its quite fast coz according to their site it will take 5-10 days to ship for provincial deliveries. I call their hotlines to confirm it or trace my order. A customer representative confirmed it and said that its about to b deliver to me from time to time so I should prepare the payment. 1…2 days past but I didn’t receive any deliveries and I called their hotlines para ma sure kung kailan ba talaga darating ung product kasi may planong magbakasyon ung family ko baka pagdeliver nila eh walang tao. Ganun pa rin ung sagot ng customer rep nila. Tapos I ask for the tracking number para e-pick up ko nlng sa LBC kasi sabi nila andon na dw pero wala naman silang maibigay na tracking number kasi offline daw so be it. The next day may tumawag sakin nagpakilala na customer rep nila in my mobile phone. SHe said that my order had been cancelled due to cash on delivery is not available in ILOILO city due to some issues. and I insist kasi pag order ko sa site nila nakalagay doon na available at saka sabi ng customer service rep nila naiship na dw ung item at andito na sa LBC ILOILO. E-cancel ko nlng daw ung order ko at maglagay ng bagong order gamit ung dragon pay o d kaya ung credit card nlng. Tumawag ako sa hotline nila para e-confirm un ang sagot ng customer rep nila still goin on ung order ko at naipadala na sa LBC. at hindi nila kilala ung tumawag sakin. Ok the issue is clear…I ask them kung when ba talaga ung insaktong date na maideliver ung order ko o d kaya ung tracking number nlng ibigay nlng sakin. May binigay nga silang tracking number so tumawag ako sa LBC hotline para ma trace ko ung order ko…naku poh! invalid ung tracking number na ibinigay sakin(twice ko pa tong pinaulit sa customer rep nila to double check the numbers)…ANU BA TO LOKOHAN? WASTE OF MY TIME AT BILLS NG TELEPONO!!!! TAPOS NGAYON TUMATAWAG KAYO PARA E-SETTLE KO UNG PAYMENT NG TOYS(MY SECOND ORDER PAYMENT THROUGH DRAGON PAY) NA INORDER KO. CASH ON DELIVERY NGA MAGULO NA! UN PA KAYA NA NAGPADALA NA AKO NG PERA. KUNG OK SANA UNG UNA NATING TRANSACTION MALAMANG E-PURSUE KO UNG SECOND ORDER KO.


    • thanks sa pag post mo ng experience mo sa online shopping. kc i was planning to purchase toys for my baby’s upcoming birthday pero naging hesitant ako kc mahirap ng maloko lalo na and2 kmi sa probinsya. so bngay ko sa sister ko ang address ng Lazada kc nagwo work nmn sya sa makati at sbi ko if my tym sya ay ibili nlng ako ng toys kc nga natatakot akong mag risk.

So sad to hear that some people experienced delays and other problems… As for me, I haven’t experienced any problems with Lazada… I remember the first time I bought an item, I tried buying something cheap first so that it won’t be such a loss if something horrible happens.. But Lazada impressed me so I buy from time to time and every purchase goes smoothly. I choose cash on delivery by the way! I don’t own a credit card kasi hehe

    This is B*LLSH*T! I tried to order a bag here but after 15mins I requested cancellation cos my friend told me na grabe daw ang shipping. After 2 days, someone from lazada delivers the bag to my house. I told him na I cancelled my order and made a phone call twice. aba! he wants me to pay 700 for the delivery! eh maliit na bag lang yun! babalik daw kinabukasan and will get the delivery charge good thing we have guards sa subd. BANNED NA SYA! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

    Do not trust or use Lazada! I ordered a camera because of its super low price. My credit card authorized the amount and a day after it was reflected it in my outstanding balance. Four days after, at around 1:00 pm I received received a call from Lazada inquiring about my purchase and was told to expect delivery within 5 to 6 days. At around 5:38 pm of the same day, I received an email from Lazada telling me that my order has been cancelled because I did not verify my order, or something to that effect. Honestly, I think they made a mistake as to the price of the product, but could not admit it and have to make excuses. I guess they don't know what they are selling.

    • Lol Richard, you do know you are not on the Lazada page? In my opinion the service have imporved a lot lately at Lazada (like in all other countries) These complaints are all old and things is far better now.
