Lenovo is a tech brand that has been well known not only for phones but also tablets and PCs and beyond. At this years Mobile World Council (MWC) in Barcelona Lenovo not only unveiled their new budget phones the Lenovo G5 and G5 Plus. But, also revealed a number of tablets and laptops. Here are our first looks at these Lenovo Tab 4 tablet devices.
Lenovo Tab 4 Series
Built for families and children this tablet series has stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos for some high quality multimedia experience. However there are more features to this series. The Lenovo 4 8 and 10 tablets are meant for the family. That is evident with it’s ability to log in multiple accounts so more than one person can access their social media accounts while keeping personal space.
These devices come with some reliable power in their Snapdragon Quad core processors and 2GB RAM. Not only that but the aforementioned Dolby Atmos speakers are front facing so the sounds are delivered directly to the users. Such quality audio of course pairs well with the tablets HD display.
Lenovo Tab 4: The Plus Line
Called “dual glass” tablets the design forward Tab 4 8 Plus and 10 Plus are some heavily shielded devices. Covered with a protective glass layer at the front and at the back, these machines that are at 8.4mm or lower thickness go for some stunning aesthetics. The glass is not only protection but for beauty as the aurora like visuals of the glass changes at its angles.
Under the hood, these machines impress with their 64-bit Octa-Core 2.0GHz processor. On top of that they feature up to 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. This also comes with the Dolby Atmos speakers, and Full HD IPS display. As if that was not enough the Plus line comes with USB type-C ports and figer print sensors.
Lenovo Tab 4: Add on Packs
Built for kids the Tab 4 series has a Kids add on pack comes with a shock resistant bumper. There is also a blue light filter to this add on pack. However, more than the physical add-ons the kids pack has pre installed features to help curate the content the kids will see on the tab. There is also a management interface for parents to set on and down time schedules, as well as to monitor the content for their children.
For the parents and teens the Tab 4 devices can turn into a 2-in-1 machine with the productivity add-on pack. A Bluetooth connected keyborard it doubles as a protective sleeve. The productivity interface features a taskbar, instant app switching, multiple windows support and optimizations for a mouse and keyboard.
Lenovo Tab 4: Pricing and Availability
As of now the Tab 4 8 and 10 are priced at 169 and 179 Euros, or roughly Php 9,000 and Php 9,500. As well, the Tab 4 8 Plus and 10 Plus are at 259 and 299 Euros. That roughly converts to Php 14,000 and Php 16,000. Available at Lenovo retail partners and the website, the Lenovo Tab 4 Tablet Series will bee available globally in May.
