Nokia N900 sells for Php48k at InfoMax

Spotted on the store shelves of InfoMax in MegaMall is a box of a brand new Nokia N900 phone. Though the rumored launch date of the N900 in the Philippines is still in March, the store had 1 of the 2 units sold already since late December.

The price of the remaining unit is a staggering Php48,000 and the store clerk says it does not come with any microSD card so you’ll have to shell a couple thousand pesos more for that.

  • Whoa! That’s so expensive. I bought mine from the States through a friend for only $549. After tax duties, it should be around Php 35,000 here in the Philippines. Mine’s still currently in customs but it should be delivered to me within the week. I’ll blog about the unboxing and make a review once I get my unit.

    Thanks for this post!

woooooooooooooow very expensive damn it!! though i
      want one so bad

  • Php48k is too much… I’m sure when nokia sells it locally it would only range from 30-40k… so I guess it all comes down to around 10k more or wait two months…

    • LuiWorcester

      bullshit ang mahal

  • Carl

I’ve been waiting for this to be available in the Philippines and that’s the price? Hehe… Guess I’ll wait for the reviews of Google Nexus One and decide whether to buy Nexus One or N900.

  • impressive! but I am a motorola and samsung fan. Nakakainnis kasi ang nokia, parang damit kung maglabas ng bagong model ,”

  • @marvin – impressive indeed. motorola has something on par with the n900, the motorola milestone. but i would still choose the n900 vs milestone/droid. that’s power over form for me.

@Jab – sobrang mahal nga eh. pero good job for Infomaxx for bringing it to the Philippines.

  • Got the N900 already last Saturday. I also posted some unboxing photos on my website. Review will be posted after a week. So far, this phone is one of the most responsive phones I’ve used.

I still prefer the up and coming SE Xperia X2… it is windows and boasts of 8 meg. Since my X1 serves me well, X2 will be great.

im here in dubai, i bought my N900 last dec when it was release here..i suggest you buy this mobile, its like having a laptop with phone capabilities.application are directly downloaded thru application manager, can download file from net without using your laptop, save pic,im accounts such as skype, facebook,ym,google, etc are already integrated. recent firmware updates already included portrait browsing.Web browsing is like using your laptop.and im writing this now using my device..

when i bought it here it was 3000dirhams a month and a half later it drops to 2420dirhams.as of now all nokia shops here in dubai has no stock, nagkakaubusan!

I have 1 already and its SR2200 which PHP27000 thou sa atin..maganda features.. mabilis internet browsing.. I can connect to my desktop using VNC Viewer. I can chat through IRC. Full Flash Support and can play Facebook game application such as Farmville. Multiwindow pa.. while youtube is playing, you can open other site.. not only 1.. instead as many as you can.haha.. But guys, u have to install USSDPad from you N900 to load prepaid card or to check balance as for now USSD service is not currently supported and it will make incorrect number in dialing pad.maybe later this one will be fix. USSD means *# combination with numbers like *1500*, Get it? So if your a geek and linux fan then u should buy.. if ur only newbie or simple user dont buy it and only iphone or nexxus one is for you.. Remember N900 is a Opensource Unit Tablet PC Phone…
