Another entry-level disruptor made its mark in the tech world today courtesy of Realme as it launches its budget smartphone royalty, the Realme C2. It promises top-level performance and long battery life without breaking the bank and ts sleek, modern build can compete with the likes of Huawei P30 Lite or Honor Play in terms of design.
Realme C2 launched via Facebook and YouTube live-stream and those who actively participated during the two-hour session were gifted a brand-new Realme C2. Realme PH’s Marketing Lead, Eason de Guzman, shares “Some Filipinos forego premium experience because in most cases it comes with a hefty price tag. This is what we want to change. At Realme, we want Filipinos to experience premium smartphone without having to break their savings. We all deserve to enjoy the real value of the products we invest in, and offering real value happens to be our expertise.”
The Realme C2 banks on quality provided by its MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor and 4000mAh battery power–these two combined makes for a powerful unit that’s able to take on multiple apps and games without a glitch. Moreover, its dual 13MP+2MP rear camera and 5MP AI-supported selfie shooter gives dynamic performance to images as it’s able to process more optimized and richer scenes. Realme C2 is the first in the C-series to feature Chroma Boost, thus improving photo contrast and saturation.
Realme’s contemporary and metallic design is what the brand is known for; it made sure to incorporate both elements into the Realme C2. Users can choose between Diamond Black and Diamond Blue—both taking inspiration from nature.
As for its pricing and availability, the Realme C2 with 2GB RAM + 16GB storage retails for PHP 5,490 while the 3GB RAM + 32GB variant retails for PHP 6,490.
