Samsung just released the new Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) in India today. Priced at Rs 8,190 (around Php 6,380), the phone comes cheapest in the J series to date.
Going up against the Xiaomi Redmi 5, the Galaxy J2 (2018) remains packed with features. For a budget phone, the Galaxy J2 (2018) comes with a super AMOLED display. It also sports an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, both with LED flash.
Powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor, the new J series addition also touts a Device Maintenance feature. Samsung designed this to automatically optimize performance. Exclusive to the Indian market, it comes with the AI-powered Samsung Mall app. This centralizes all shopping carts and integrates e-commerce sites into one app. Samsung Mall also enables a user to click on a photo and get search results across platforms.
