Korean brand Samsung has put its new Galaxy A8 Star in the spotlight, featuring a dual-camera setup on the back.
The device, also known as the A9 Star in China, boasts a 6.3-inch Infinity display with noticeable top and bottom bezels, and Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. It also has rear fingerprint scanner.
The Galaxy A8 Star is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, and runs on Android 8.0 Orea operating system. It is also equipped with 3, 700 mAh battery.
In terms of its camera, the new device is one of Samsung’s first smartphones to have a dual-camera setup in a vertical orientation located at the corner. The rear camera pair is built with 24-megapixel and 16-megapixel. While its front shooter sports 24 megapixel.
It comes in two colors, Black and White, and will be available in China on June 14 with a price tag of CNY 2, 999. Launching of this device in the Southeast Asia is expected in the coming weeks.
